Half Of My Heart.

Half of my heart says I've tried,
The other half says I haven't tried enough.
How am I to thrive,
When tis heart is so stubborn about love.

I've painted you in the canvas of my heart,
And it's hung on the walls of my mind.
You said "Don't fall in love with my kind,"
How do I tell you I've been in love with you from the very start.

Love is the reason for most of the things that I do.
I always tried, never lied, to be a part of your memory.
'Cause you live in mine like a melody,
And it sings to me to make me woo.

Half of my heart loves to agree,
To everything you say and do.
The other half wants to disagree,
'Cause it knows it's too good to be true.
