Kerala

Heat in the air,
Coconut trees everywhere.
You can see the lighthouse from afar,
Know that you're in Kerala, my dear.

Eavesdropping neighbours,
Whispering rumours,
And Relatives who don't leave your home,
Know that you're in Kerala, my dear.

Saltiness in the atmosphere,
Side kicks and opened beers,
You're bound to love the seafood,
Know that you're in Kerala, my dear.

God's own country,
South India is the remedy,
The place you don't want to leave,
Come home to Kerala, my dear.

Starlight

I try to trace the moon,
Draw a line, and it's my balloon,
To fly away, yet drawn to what shines.
To fathom confetti like stars.
Are they the peep holes of heaven?
Or afterlife of souls?

I saw a shooting star,
Like a rainbow for the moon afar.
The starlight, twinkle for us,
For you and I.
As we lay down on the grass,
Enchanted by this sky full of stars.

And even if we take a night stroll,
We'll still be followed by the moon.
They'll still be whispers on the street,
If you feel alone.
And if you do feel alone, look into the blue.
'Cause all of the stars are here for you.

Wolf Girl 4

She was siting there alone on the merry-go-round,
Collecting stones that looked like canines.
She was siting there in her room with her head down,
Just trying to find peace through wind chimes.

And she, would walk bare feet,
On the lawn of the second floor.
And she, had promised me,
"I wouldn't leave even if you pushed me out the door."

I knew where she sat in her car,
She calls it her second home.
She wrote, "When I missed you I would look at the stars,
Feel you holding my hand and wouldn't feel alone."

Whenever she missed her favourite uncle,
She would cry herself to sleep.
'Cuz she knew she couldn't write to him or call,
And neither were there any more memories to keep.

Back then her bestfriend was her grandma's blanket,
She got as a little girl.
She wishes to take her only right anklet
to travel around the world.

She confessed all her feelings to her diary,
Whenever she looked into her dog's eyes.
Her eyes was always buried in books she loved to read,
'cuz reading made her feel like she could touch the open skies.

She loved too easily and fell too hard,
She would write her story if you promised to read.
She has a beautiful soul but an even more beautiful heart,
She's a lover who's already planted her seed.

Raindrops

The leaves have fallen,
The sky is gloom.
With the rain coming,
I wish I reached home soon.

The sky has lost its colour,
The clouds are making thunder.
The birds fly away,
As Heaven drops its wonder.

raindrops dripping down my window,
Like they're on their own race.
Reminded of The smell of the rain,
With every drop fallin' on my face.

There's a weird kind of comfort in this weather,
That hypnotizes you to drink tea.
Each drop that falls from above,
Is a blessing to the greenery.

If only you could see,
How pretty the world looks in the rain.
You would for once believe
That there's no fear or pain.

Put me together.

Darlin' put me together,
In this cold winter weather.
And hug me tight,
Like am your favourite sweater.

You and me together
It only gets better.
I'll hold you close to my heart,
And caress your skin, like a feather.

Tender was our love,
and the purest of kind.
'Cuz you held me together,
Like an angel sent from above.

Time seizes,
every time you lose a piece of your soul.
And you broke me,
When you left me in pieces.

I keep waiting for time to undo,
'Cuz you're the only one,
Who can put me together.
A piece lost in the blue.

The Angel Of Hope

'Lord, I love you and I need you, come into my heart,
and bless me, my family, my home, and my friends,
in Jesus' name.
Amen.'

Just a touch from you,
Can ease my pain.
Without you,
I wouldn't have been the same.

Just a touch from you,
And I can sleep tonight.
Just a touch from you,
Helps me with the what's right.

You're the angel of hope,
My living grace.
You save me when I can't cope,
You light up my face.

Save me from my own fears,
Give me the wisdom to understand.
Save me oh Angel of hope,
And take me to another land.

A Face To Call Home

You have my door,
Wide open for you.
You can come over,
Whenever you break through,

You come running for a hug,
And I'll make you feel safe.
You tell me everything,
With tears dripping down your face.

You knew I was always going to there for you,
And I remind you that whilst wiping your tear.
Your mind would say "No!"
But your heart knew you belonged here.

You tell me how you've missed my warmth.
I've missed the smell of you,
And this feeling of coming home.
This just seems too good to be true.
