I try to trace the moon,
Draw a line, and it's my balloon,
To fly away, yet drawn to what shines.
To fathom confetti like stars.
Are they the peep holes of heaven?
Or afterlife of souls?
I saw a shooting star,
Like a rainbow for the moon afar.
The starlight, twinkle for us,
For you and I.
As we lay down on the grass,
Enchanted by this sky full of stars.
And even if we take a night stroll,
We'll still be followed by the moon.
They'll still be whispers on the street,
If you feel alone.
And if you do feel alone, look into the blue.
'Cause all of the stars are here for you.
She was siting there alone on the merry-go-round,
Collecting stones that looked like canines.
She was siting there in her room with her head down,
Just trying to find peace through wind chimes.
And she, would walk bare feet,
On the lawn of the second floor.
And she, had promised me,
"I wouldn't leave even if you pushed me out the door."
I knew where she sat in her car,
She calls it her second home.
She wrote, "When I missed you I would look at the stars,
Feel you holding my hand and wouldn't feel alone."
Whenever she missed her favourite uncle,
She would cry herself to sleep.
'Cuz she knew she couldn't write to him or call,
And neither were there any more memories to keep.
Back then her bestfriend was her grandma's blanket,
She got as a little girl.
She wishes to take her only right anklet
to travel around the world.
She confessed all her feelings to her diary,
Whenever she looked into her dog's eyes.
Her eyes was always buried in books she loved to read,
'cuz reading made her feel like she could touch the open skies.
She loved too easily and fell too hard,
She would write her story if you promised to read.
She has a beautiful soul but an even more beautiful heart,
She's a lover who's already planted her seed.
